Eliminating buckthorn can be quite a challenge. Buckthorn seeds left in the soil can germinate and grow long after the plants have been removed. The Buckthorn Replacement Kit is a collection of plants you can strategically use to help out- compete future buckthorn seedlings and reduce the chances of the infestation returning. Recommended for a 40-60 square foot area.
This selection of native plants comes as one flat, containing 36 plugs of 6 different species, all ready to plant. Each plant is grown in a 2″ x 2.25″ x 3.25″ cell. Species will be a mix of grasses and forbe depending on availability.
